Blech! Being sick when you're a mommy is no fun.

Did I get my flu shot this year? No.
Am I going to get my flu shot next year? Yes.

I haven't been this sick in years. Well, I think today is the beginning (a very slight beginning) of recovery, Tuesday and Wednesday were horrible. To add to the fun, both Rivers and Cumorah have pink eye. The pink eye really wouldn't have been that big of a deal but when I called the doctor's office Monday morning to tell them that I thought my daughter had pink eye, the nurse said she didn't think it sounded like pink eye. Something about if the goop didn't return within a very short time of wiping it out and if it didn't look pink yet, blah, blah, blah. Long story short...three days of needless suffering for both daughters, very sick mommy finally insisting upon doctor's appointment for girls and making the trip in pajamas with 100+ fever, chills, and barely being able to talk, only to hear doctor say, of course this is pink eye and by the way, Rivers has an ear infection, sick mommy not very happy with know-it-all nurse but happy that ear infection was caught so soon, medicines picked up, Mommy falls on couch, Daddy comes home and takes care of neglected children, and now everyone is going to get better.
