This week Cumorah was having a hard time adjusting to the new scedule with med school going strong again. She doesn't like to say goodbye to her daddy. She came running out of her room one morning very serious, saying something about her "back-back". I asked, "Do you want your back-pack?"
"yeah."
"OK, go get it"
She did. When Brian went to go leave for school she helped him with his back pack. She wanted to go with him. It was so devastating to her that she couldn't go with him. She had a back pack ready just like Daddy. I guess it made sense to her that she could go if she had a backpack too.
She's a Daddy's girl.

P.S. Brian did put freezer door strips on our back door. Kind of embarrassing to show to people, but they actually do work. You should see what he's working on now...

ok, the freezer door strips are embarrassing, but you did marry Brian...I think you're going to have to get used to embarassment like that! PS how did your pizza party go?
Hi Maryann,
So glad you found me. Your blog is great, love all the cute photos. I wish I could take pictures like that! The one with your shoes is really cool. Very professional looking. I'm so glad to hear your doing well in Des Moines. Congratulations on your new baby girl!

I'm not sure who hates "goodbyes" more, Cumorah or myself. And I think the freezer door strips are stylish. In fact, I vote for putting them in all our doorways.
Oh I am so sad for Cumorah that she couldn't go to school with Brian even with the backpack. I don't think the freezer door strips look to bad and if they work that is perfect.
Oh, Cumorah looks really cute with her backpack. Poor Cumorah! and poor daddy!
By the way, I like the freezer door strips... although I'm not sure what are they for :-D
Diana.
