Daddy Interview

We have been meaning to start the tradition of Father Interviews for awhile now, and today Brian was able to have them for the first time.  His goal is to talk with each of his children privately for a short while on the first Sunday of every month.  It's kind of more formal than other times he interacts with his kids, but still fun and relaxed.  They met in his office and Brian played a memory game with them while they talked.  And the kids walked away with a little treat.  I think we're hoping that this will be just another way to encourage healthy communication so that it will be easier to talk openly about things that may be harder to talk about when the kids are older.  Not to mention that these little monsters just eat up the one-on-one time that is so hard to come by around here.

During the course of their visits today, Brian asked them a few questions and recorded their responses.  I thought I would record them here.  I really need to record more of the things they say.

Good stuff and good idea! You need to post all the interviews and add more questions :) Can't wait for next month's questions, my wife and I laughed at all of em and the shark, blue bear ones but especially the sharing toys one.

This post is seriously an answer to my prayers! Ryan and I were just talking last night about interviews with our children and they way you and Brian do it makes it sound simple!

I love love loved reading your kids' responses. So familiar.

Can we live in the same city again someday?
